Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) DreamBuilder
A USA program, developed in the Arizona State Thunderbird School of Management.
 It is an online program of 13 modules (1 per week).
 Facilitated by Tok Stret Consulting Ltd - Lae.
 Self-paced and supported by Tok Stret Consulting - In person & Zoom sessions included.
 Provides educational resources.
 Grows networks and mentorship.
 Connects women through existing exchange programs.
 Empowers and develops Women in Business and Networking opportunities.
The Dream Builder Program:
 Is a PILOT program open to capable and equipped Morobe women.
 Requires discipline, attitude and a quest to learn and develop
 Will expand your knowledge and business skills.

Eligibility
requirements:

 Female, 18 years old and above, English-literate and Morobe-based.
 Fill Registration form and submit with
 Copy of Business Profile
 Copy of IPA Certificate
 Copy of IRC TIN (can be organized while doing the program)
 Must have a Business Bank Account (can be organized while doing the program)
 Copy of Gr.10 or Gr.12 High School Certificate
 K50 Commitment fee paid to Lae SME Incubator Hub BSP Acc#7021194332 and submit
remittance
 Possess a laptop/desktop or smart phone. We recommend a laptop for easy navigation /
manoeuvring.
 Must always have data

AWE Awareness Program in Lae with Women Police Officers 

We are so privileged to have the LAE Central Policewomen to take part in this Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Awareness program.

The AWE program is designed to equip women with skills and networks to launch and scale their business. whilst the program is open to eligible women, raising awareness specifically among the policewomen can help them explore entrepreneurial opportunities outside their public service careers.

PROGRAM BENEFIT for POLICEWOMEN.

The AWE program can provide female police officers with several benefits beyond their law enforcement duties

ALTERNATIVE CAREER PATH: AWE provides practical business training that can help policewomen start a business to supplement their income or build a new career path after retirement from the police force.

ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT: Developing business skills and building a business that can improve a woman's financial independence and secure her family future.

MENTORSHIP AND NETWORKING: The program connects participants with successful local business leaders, U.S exchange alumni, and other female entrepreneurs. this networking can be invaluable for gaining advice and support.

RESILINCE AND WELLBEING: For policewomen who face high stress environment, entrepreneurship can offer an opportunity for personal growth and creativity, which can support their overall well-being and resilience.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Policewomen officers can use their business and leadership skills to create opportunities that address social and economic challenges in their community.
