The Woman Economic Empowerment Expo 2025, hosted by Tok Stret Consulting Ltd in partnership with SME Corporation, was held successfully at Eriku Oval, Lae from 12th to 14th December 2025.

The event convened women entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the region. Program activities included exhibitions, workshops, and networking sessions designed to provide women with a platform to promote their products and services.

Displays features local handicraft, innovative products, fresh produce, and food. The Expo also facilitated knowledge sharing through testimonies from businesswomen who have established successful enterprises despite significant challenges. Their experience demonstrated resilience, determination, and innovation, underscoring the broader impact of women’s economic empowerment on community and economic development.

The Expo achieved its objective of strengthening market access and visibility for women-led MSME’s in Lae.
