WHAT A SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND!!

The Morobe Woman Economic Empowerment Expo 2025 “Strongim Meri - Strongim Bisnis - Strongim Femili” was a huge success! SME Corporation in partnership with Tok Stret Consulting Ltd, hosted an amazing event that brought together women entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the province.

The expo featured exhibitions, workshops, and networking opportunities, providing a platform for women to showcase their products and services. We saw incredible displays of local handicrafts, innovative products, fresh produces, different taste of delicious food, and other products.

And also heard successful and inspiring stories of businesswomen who have overcome challenges to build successful businesses. Their stories highlight the resilience, determination and innovative spirit of women entrepreneurs, serving as a testament to the impact of women’s economic empowerment on communities and economics. The event also featured fashion shows that showcased stunning local designs, blending traditional PNG attire with modern styles, recycle materials featuring artists of 60s & 70s out of London. Stunning performances by the youth, dancing and entertaining the audience - energetic performances that kept the crowds entertained with rhythmic drumming and lively chanting.
